Details

Either end of the boom is finished with a spigot. This allows the boom arm to be used in two ways - either hand held or attached to an additional studio lighting stand. To attach a speedlite, you will need the SpeedMount speedlite (sku : ILSTYPB) or the bracket supplied in the Speedlite Accessory Kit (sku : ILV8SA).

The secondary spigot means that two speedlights could be rigged OR fix an end into floor stand leg base (sku : ILJS20), background stand (sku : ILJS70) or any piece of lighting gear that accepts a spigot.
